From early childhood onwards I have been surrounded by flowers, from waking up to my mother making a dozens boutiques on an early Sunday morning to my grandmother taking care of her roses on a sunny afternoon. Flowers have become intertwined with important memories as well as stages in my life. Through this work I am revisiting the importance they have had and use them as stand-ins for these stages. It serves both as an exploration as well as homage to the people connected to them.
