Can something old, broken and decaying still harbour a sense bewitchment?
Situated on the grounds of the bloody Fühlinger Heide battle (1288) Villa Oppenheim is said to be the most haunted building in Germany. Built in 1884 by Eduard Freiherr von Oppenheim.
I find beauty in the decay and history of places, it evolves into a living being that shows the traces of time.
Often met with the opposed opinion that decay equals haunted. This project tries to challenge this notion.
